Biography
Standing a staggering 6-foot-nine, the Pretoria Country Club player is one of the longest drivers of the ball on the Sunshine Tour. Having turned pro in 2018, Hart Du Preez has no yet managed a win on Tour but has shown every glimpse of the good golfer he is.
His two runners-up finishes ? Sun Sibaya 2019 and Gary + Vivienne Player Challenge 2023 ? are some of his best results on Tour. He has amassed over R2 million in earnings despite not winning a tournament so far.
In 2022, Hart Du Preez finished 20th on the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit, his highest ranking to date. His biggest pay day came in the 2022 Steyn City Championship where he finished fifth and pocketed over R 800 000 in earnings.
